Tymal Mills, who celebrates his birthday on 12th August, is one of the fastest bowlers in the world currently. Even at the age of 20, Mills clocked over 90 mph deliveries, which were too good not to get noticed. 

Here are some interesting facts, trivia, and records about Tymal Mills: 

1) Mills was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. He was educated at Mildenhall College of Technology in Mildenhall, Suffolk, and played for Mildenhall Cricket Club.

2) Tymal Mills went to the University of East London to study sports Journalism, but cut-short that course to pursue a career in cricket at the age of 19. 

3) Mills made his first-class debut for Essex against the Sri Lankans in the tourist match of 2011 at Chelmsford. He made his Championship debut against Leicestershire in the same year. 

4) During the 2013-14 Ashes, when Mitchell Johnson was at his lethal best, Tymal Mills was taken to Australia to help English batters prepare to face the fast bowling. Some reports suggest that Mills almost broke Graeme Swann's arm in the nets. 

5) In 2015, his career reached a halt when he was diagnosed with a congenital back condition, where his spinal cord and vertebrae were unusually close to each other. This meant that bowling fast would be dangerous, and things could get complicated.

6) Despite such complications, Mills trained hard, specifically for the T20 format, and made his international debut against Sri Lanka in 2016. 

7) In the IPL 2017 Auction, Tymal Mills got introduced with the base price of 50 lakhs, and he got purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) for 12 crores. 

8) In 130 T20s, Tymal Mills has picked up 142 wickets. He has 32 first-class matches, in which he picked 55 wickets.
