India and New Zealand are all set to play the ICC World Test Championship(WTC) Final from 18th June at Ageas Bowl, Southampton. The two teams have played some fantastic cricket in the last two years to earn themselves a place in the Final and a chance to lift the test mace.

As the two teams take the field for the all-important game, some big records will also be ready to be broken. Let's take a look at all the records that can be made or broken in India vs New Zealand WTC Final:

1) Kohli To Surpass Dhoni:

As Virat Kohli will arrive for the toss, he will surpass MS Dhoni with most matches played as India's Test captain. It will be Kohli's 61st test appearance as captain.

2) Most Centuries as Captain:

Virat Kohli has currently hit 41 centuries as captain; tied with Australia's Ricky Ponting. Once the Indian captain reaches the triple-figure mark, he will become the number 1 on the list of most centuries as a captain.

3) Ashwin To Overtake Harbhajan Singh

Ravichandran Ashwin has a chance to become the second-highest wicket-taker for India if he manages to take nine more wickets. Ashwin(409 wickets) will be overtaking Harbhajan Singh(417) in the list of highest wicket-takers for India in test matches.

4) Highest wicket-taker in WTC

If R Ashwin manages to take four wickets, he will become the highest wicket-taker in the World Test Championship. The off-spinner has taken 67 wickets so far and is only behind Stuart Broad(69) and Pat Cummins(70) in the list.

5) Double Century for Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma will become the third Indian fast bowler to take 200 Test wickets on foreign soil as soon as he takes one wicket. Currently, only Kapil Dev (215) and Zaheer Khan (207) have achieved this feat for India.

6) Kohli Will Become 2nd Captain To Do So

If India manages to win the WTC Final, Virat Kohli will become the 2nd captain to win an ICC trophy and an under-19 World Cup trophy. Only Pakistan's Sarfaraz Ahmed has achieved this so far when he won the 2006 U-19 World Cup and then went on to win the 2017 Champions Trophy.

7) Most Sixes in WTC

Rohit Sharma needs just five sixes to become the highest six-hitter in the World Test Championship. The Indian opener has so far hit 27 sixes in the championship and is only behind England's Ben Stokes, who has 31 maximums to his name.

8) 18000 Runs For the Kiwi Legend

New Zealand's Ross Taylor is set to become the first player from his country to score 18000 runs in international cricket. He needs just four runs to achieve this milestone.

9) 600 Wickets for Southee

Tim Southee is set to become the second New Zealand bowler to take 600 international wickets. It will take him only two wickets to reach this milestone. Only Daniel Vettori(705) has so far achieved this feat for the Kiwis.
