Stuart Christopher John Broad, born 24 June 1986, is currently an ace wicket-taking-bowler on the England Test Cricket side.

Stuart Broad tore down a robust Aussie side in 2009 to help England clinch the prestigious Ashes, from that instinct everyone saw the future star into making. A fatal in-swinger that has the calibre to destroy every batting side. Broad's wicket taking ability made him one of England's ruthless strike pace bowlers since his Test debut in 2007.

Broad started his international career in 2006 against Pakistan when he first got an opportunity to play a T20I match. He did play quite well and just missed out on a hattrick in his debut match. He played the first ODI against Pakistan on 30 August 2006, while he got the opportunity to play the first test against Sri Lanka on 9 December 2007.

The lethal pace bowler didn't have many records in ICC events that could justify his stature. In an event against India in the 2007 T20 World Cup when after a heated argument between Yuvraj Singh and Flintoff, he got hammered six sixes in one over by Yuvraj in the semis. But this incident didn't shock that moment off in Broad's life, his confidence and belief changed Broad into a completely matured bowler for England. He proved that by becoming the second leading wicket-taker test bowler for the country after his counterpart James Anderson.

The English pacer has also featured in the Indian Premier League where he played for Kings XI Punjab from 2011 to 2012.

Stuart Broad is one of the best test-match bowlers in the world and has many achievements in his name but his most favorite amongst all is the hattrick taken by him against New Zealand when this English veteran fast bowler made the dream comeback in the first Test match, which eventually led his side win the first game at the Lord's.
