CPL 2019: चैंपियन नाइट राइडर्स ने ओपनिंग मैच में पैट्रियट्स को 11 रन से हराया,जिमी नीशम बने जीत के हीरो

5 सितंबर,नई दिल्ली। जिमी नीशम के ऑल राउंड खेल की बदौलत मौजूदा चैंपियन त्रिनबागो नाइट राइडर्स ने क्वींस पार्क ओवल स्टेडियम में खेले गए कैरेबियन प्रीमियर लीग 2019 के पहले मुकाबले में सैंट किट्स एंड नेविस पैट्रियट्स को 11 रनों से हरा दिया। नाइट राइडर्स के 152 रनों के जवाव में पेट्रियट्स की टीम 19.4 ओवरों में 141 रन ही बना सकी।

टॉस जीतकर बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी नाइट राइडर्स की टीम की शुरआत अच्छी नही रही और पहले 3 विकेट सिर्फ 20 रन के स्कोर पर गिर गए। इसके बाद जिमी नीशम और दिनेश रामदीन की जोड़ी ने मिलकर पारी को संभाला और चौथे विकेट के लिए 60 रन जोड़े। नीशम और रामदीन ने 33-33 रन की पारी खेली। इसके बाद कप्तान कीरोन पोलार्ड ने 32 गेंदों में 4 चौकों और तीन छक्कों की मदद से 47 रन बनाए। जिसके चलते नाइट राइडर्स ने 20 ओवरों में 7 विकेट के नुकसान पर 152 रन का स्कोर खड़ा किया।
