अंडर-19 एशिया कप: शाहजेब की बेहतरीन 159 रनों की पारी से पाकिस्तान ने भारत को हराया
U19 Asia Cup: शाहज़ेब खान की 159 रनों की शानदार पारी की बदौलत पाकिस्तान ने शनिवार को दुबई इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में एसीसी पुरुष अंडर-19 एशिया कप के ग्रुप-ए के मुकाबले में भारत को 43 रनों से हरा दिया।
शाहज़ेब ने 147 गेंदों पर पांच चौकों और 10 गगनचुंबी छक्कों की मदद से ताबड़तोड़ पारी खेली और पाकिस्तान की पारी को सात विकेट पर 281 रनों तक पहुंचाया। मानसेहरा में जन्मे सलामी बल्लेबाज ने उस्मान खान के साथ 160 रनों की साझेदारी की, जिन्होंने 94 गेंदों पर 60 रनों का योगदान दिया। इस साझेदारी ने पाकिस्तान की पारी की दिशा तय की, जिसमें शाहज़ेब ने मुहम्मद रियाज़ुल्लाह (27) के साथ तीसरे विकेट के लिए 71 रनों की महत्वपूर्ण साझेदारी की।
भारत की गेंदबाजी का नेतृत्व समर्थ नागराज ने किया, जिन्होंने 45 रन देकर 3 विकेट लिए, जबकि आयुष म्हात्रे ने 30 रन देकर 2 विकेट लिए। जवाब में, भारत की शुरुआत खराब रही और 15 ओवर में ही 81 रन पर चार विकेट गिर गए। अली रजा ने नौ ओवर में 36 रन देकर 3 विकेट लेकर शीर्ष क्रम को ध्वस्त कर दिया।
