Bangladesh Rope In Mushtaq Ahmed As Spin Consultant For South Africa Series
ICC T20 World Cup: Bangladesh have appointed former Pakistan leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed as spin bowling consultant for the upcoming two-Test series against South Africa. Mushtaq previously helped the Bangladesh team during the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and the Pakistan tour before missing out on the India tour due to prior commitments.
Mushtaq oversaw the team's net session at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Saturday, gave inputs to players and had a detailed conversation with newly-appointed head coach Phil Simmons, who recently replaced Chandika Hathurusingha.
