दरअसल, ये पूरी घटना टीम इंडिया की दूसरी इनिंग के 17वें ओवर में घटी। आकाश दीप भारत के लिए बतौर नाइट वॉचमैन चौथे नंबर पर बैटिंग करने मैदान पर उतरे थे जो कि इंग्लिश गेंदबाज़ों की बॉल को डिफेंस करके उन्हें परेशान कर रहे थे।
