नई दिल्ली, 27 नवंबर | दिल्ली एवं जिला क्रिकेट संघ (डीडीसीए) ने मंगलवार को यहां अरुण जेटली स्टेडियम में पूर्व भारतीय सलामी बल्लेबाज गौतम गंभीर के नाम पर स्टैंड का अनावरण किया। गंभीर ने अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट पर लिखा, "अरुण जेटली मेरे लिए पिता तुल्य थे और 'अरुण जेटली स्टेडियम' में मेरे नाम पर स्टैंड होना मेरे लिए बड़े गर्व और सौभाग्य की बात है। मैं एपेक्स काउंसिल, अपने फैन्स, दोस्तों और परिजनों का धन्यवाद देता हूं, जिन्होंने हर कदम पर मेरा साथ दिया।"
गंभीर ने अपने करियर में 58 टेस्ट, 147 वनडे और 37 टी20 इंटरनैशनल मैच खेले। वह 2007 वल्र्ड टी-20 और 2011 विश्व कप विजेता भारतीय टीम के सदस्य भी हैं।
