धवन ने कहा : भारत को बुमराह की कमी 'बहुत खलेगी'
बुमराह पीठ के निचले हिस्से में चोट के कारण आठ टीमों के इस टूर्नामेंट से बाहर हो गए थे। उनकी जगह हर्षित राणा को भारतीय टीम में शामिल किया गया।
आईसीसी ने धवन के हवाले से कहा,"आईसीसी पुरुष चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी की वापसी होना बहुत अच्छा अहसास है। मुझे याद है कि जब मैंने 2013 में पहली बार इसमें खेला था, तो मुझे यह बहुत पसंद आया था और इस टूर्नामेंट को लेकर पहले से ही काफी चर्चा है।बहुत सारी अटकलें और बहुत सारी भविष्यवाणियां हैं, जो मज़ेदार है, और मैं भारत से आगे नहीं देख सकता। मुझे उन पर पूरा भरोसा है, उनके पास एक ठोस टीम है और उन्होंने हाल ही में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ़ वनडे सीरीज़ में बहुत अच्छा खेला।''
