खराब प्रदर्शन कर रहे सिराज को टीम से बाहर किया जाए : गावस्कर
Gavaskar Trophy: दिग्गज बल्लेबाज सुनील गावस्कर ने खराब प्रदर्शन करने वाले तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद सिराज की बेहद ईमानदार समीक्षा की और मौजूदा बॉर्डर गावस्कर ट्रॉफी सीरीज में लगातार खराब प्रदर्शन के बाद बाएं हाथ के इस तेज गेंदबाज को भारतीय टीम से बाहर करने की मांग की।
सिराज, जो 2021 बॉर्डर-गावस्कर ट्रॉफी सीरीज जीत में अहम भूमिका निभाए थे, मौजूदा सीरीज में अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं कर पाए हैं, उन्होंने सात पारियों में 13 विकेट लिए हैं और नई गेंद से भी उनका प्रदर्शन अच्छा नहीं रहा है, जिससे जसप्रीत बुमराह के कंधों पर अतिरिक्त बोझ पड़ा है।
गावस्कर का मानना है कि दाएं हाथ के इस तेज गेंदबाज को आराम देने के बजाय यह बताया जाना चाहिए कि उन्हें टीम से बाहर किया जा रहा है। "मुझे लगता है कि सिराज को शायद थोड़े आराम की ज़रूरत है। इस मायने में, मैं आराम की बात नहीं कर रहा हूँ, उन्हें यह बताया जाना चाहिए कि उन्हें खराब प्रदर्शन के कारण टीम से बाहर रखा गया है। ऐसी स्थिति होनी चाहिए जहां आप इधर-उधर की बातें न कर सकें।
