    ‘There Is No Doubt That This Is The Best White-ball Team’: Irfan Pathan Hails India After T20 World Cup Triumph

    T20 World Cup: Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has heaped praise on the current Indian side following its historic victory in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, calling the team the best white-ball unit and lauding the leadership of captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir.

    India clinched the title after defeating New Zealand national cricket team by 96 runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, becoming the first team to win three Men’s T20 World Cup titles while also successfully defending the trophy.

    Speaking to reporters in Ahmedabad after the victory, Pathan said the current Indian team has established itself as the most dominant white-ball side.
