International Olympic Day: अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट काउंसिल (आईसीसी) के अध्यक्ष जय शाह ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस के अवसर पर इंटरनेशनल ओलंपिक कमेटी (आईओसी) की वैश्विक पहलों का समर्थन करते हुए कहा कि खेलों की शक्ति का उपयोग स्वास्थ्य, खुशहाली और समुदायों की सक्रिय भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किया जाना चाहिए।
अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस खेल, स्वास्थ्य और सक्रिय जीवनशैली का उत्सव है। यह हर वर्ष 23 जून को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि इसी दिन 1894 में इंटरनेशनल ओलंपिक कमेटी (आईओसी) की स्थापना पेरिस में हुई थी। इसी अवसर पर पियरे डि काउबर्टिन ने प्राचीन ओलंपिक खेलों को पुनर्जीवित करने का आह्वान किया था।
