टेस्ट रैंकिंग में चौथे स्थान पर पहुंचे ब्रूक, नौंवें स्थान पर खिसके बाबर आज़म
ODI World Cup: बल्लेबाज़ों की आईसीसी टेस्ट रैंकिंग में इंग्लैंड के बल्लेबाज़ हैरी ब्रूक तीन स्थान की छलांग लगाकर चौथे स्थान पर पहुंच गए हैं। श्रीलंका के ख़िलाफ़ पहले टेस्ट में उन्होंने 56 और 32 रन की पारी खेलकर इंग्लैंड को सीरीज़ में 1-0 से बढ़त दिलाने में मदद की थी। जो रूट ने रैंकिंग में शीर्ष स्थान बरक़रार रखा है, जबकि केन विलियमसन दूसरे और डैरिल मिचेल नंबर तीन पर बने हुए हैं।
ब्रूक, बाबर आज़म, स्टीवन स्मिथ और रोहित शर्मा को पछाड़कर चौथे स्थान पर पहुंचे गए हैं। वहीं बांग्लादेश के ख़िलाफ़ पहले टेस्ट में शून्य और 22 रन का स्कोर बनाने वाले आज़म छह स्थान लुढ़ककर नौवें स्थान पर खिसक गए हैं। तो पहले टेस्ट में 171 नाबाद और 51 रन की पारी खेलने वाले उन्हीं के हमवतन मोहम्मद रिज़वान सात स्थान की छलांग लगाकर उस्मान ख़्वाजा के साथ संयुक्त रूप से 10वें स्थान पर हैं। वहीं इसी टेस्ट में शतक लगाने वाले साउद शकील एक स्थान के सुधार के साथ 13वें स्थान पर आ गए हैं।
बांग्लादेश की ऐतिहासिक जीत के हीरो मुशफ़िकुर रहीम सात स्थान की छलांग लगाकर 17वें स्थान पर पहुंच गए हैं। उन्होंने रावलपिंडी टेस्ट में 191 रन की पारी खेली थी।
