लंदन, 19 जून (CRICKETNMORE)| अफगानिस्तान टीम के कोच फिल सिमंस ने बुधवार को एक ट्वीट कर संकेत दिया कि वह मुख्य चयनकर्ता दौलत अहमदजई को लेकर वर्ल्ड कप के बाद खुलासे करेंगे कि वर्ल्ड कप से कुछ ही दिन पहले असगर अफगान को टीम की कप्तानी से हटाने में उनकी (दौलत अहमदजई की) क्या भूमिका थी और उनके कार्यकलाप ने टीम की तैयारी को कैसे प्रभावित किया।

सिमंस ने अफगानिस्तान के पत्रकार के उस ट्वीट का जवाब दिया जिसमें अहमदजई का बयान था जिसमें उन्होंने वर्ल्ड कप में टीम के बुरे प्रदर्शन की ठीकरा सिमंस के नेतृत्व वाले कोचिंग स्टाफ पर फोड़ा है।
