இந்தியா - இலங்கை மகளிர் அணிகளுக்கு இடையேயான முத்தரப்பு ஒருநாள் தொடரின் இறுதிப்போட்டியானது நேற்று கொழும்புவில் நடைபெற்றது. இப்போட்டியில் டாஸை வென்ற இந்திய மகளிர் அணியானது முதலில் பேட்டிங் செய்வதாக அறிவித்து இலங்கை அணியை பந்துவீச அழைத்தது.
அதன்படி களமிறங்கிய இந்திய அணியின் ஸ்மிருதி மந்தனா சதமடித்து அசத்தினார். மேற்கொண்டு இப்போட்டியில் ஸ்மிருதி மந்தனா 116 ரன்களைச் சேர்த்து விக்கெட்டை இழக்க, ஹர்லீன் தியோல் 47 ரன்களிலும், ஜெமிமா ரோட்ரிக்ஸ் 44 ரன்களையும், ஹர்மன்ப்ரீத் கவுர் 41 ரன்களையும் சேர்த்து விக்கெட்டை இழந்ததுடன் அரைசதம் அடிக்கும் வாய்ப்பையும் தவறவிட்டனர். இதன் காரணமாக இந்திய மகளிர் அணி 50 ஓவர்கள் முடிவில் 7 விக்கெட்டுகளை இழந்து 342 ரன்களைச் சேர்த்தது.
