IND vs SL Test: टीम इंडिया ने गाले इंटरनेशनल स्टेडियम में जारी टेस्ट सीरीज के पहले मैच में तीसरे दिन की समाप्ति तक श्रीलंका के खिलाफ मजबूत पकड़ बना ली है। अपनी पहली पारी में 462 रन बनाने के बाद भारत ने श्रीलंकाई टीम को सिर्फ 284 रन पर समेटकर 178 रन की बढ़त हासिल कर ली। श्रीलंकाई पारी समाप्त होने के बाद खराब मौसम के चलते आगे का खेल नहीं हो सका और दिन की समाप्ति की घोषणा कर दी गई।
टॉस जीतकर बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी भारतीय टीम की तरफ से यशस्वी जायसवाल और केएल राहुल की सलामी जोड़ी ने पहले विकेट के लिए 47 रन की साझेदारी की। जायसवाल 32 रन बनाकर आउट हुए, जिसके बाद देवदत्त पड्डिकल ने मोर्चा संभाला। उन्होंने केएल राहुल के साथ दूसरे विकेट के लिए 162 रन की साझेदारी करते हुए टीम को मजबूत स्कोर तक पहुंचा दिया।
