Ricky Ponting All Time Top-5 Test Batters: ऑस्ट्रेलिया क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान और महान बल्लेबाज़ रिकी पोंटिंग (Ricky Ponting) ने अपने पसंदीदा ऑल टाइम टॉप-5 टेस्ट बल्लेबाज़ों का चुनाव किया है। गौरतलब है कि इन खिलाड़ियों में उन्होंने दो भारतीय को जगह दी है, लेकिन इनमें टीम इंडिया के सबसे बड़े बल्लेबाज़ों में से एक विराट कोहली (Virat Kohli) का नाम शामिल नहीं हैं।
रिकी पोंटिंग ने सबसे पहले अपने टेस्ट के ऑल टाइम बेस्ट बैटर में वेस्टइंडीज के महान खिलाड़ी ब्रायन लारा को चुना जिन्होंने टेस्ट फॉर्मेट में 131 मैचों में 11,953 रन बनाए। गौरतलब है कि ब्रायन लारा ही टेस्ट की एक इनिंग में सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले बल्लेबाज़ हैं, जिन्होंने साल 2004 में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ नाबाद 400 रन बनाकर ये कारनामा किया।
