T20 World Cup: भारत ने टी 20 विश्व कप में ग्रुप ए में अपना अभियान अपराजित रहते हुए ग्रुप में शीर्ष पर रहकर समाप्त किया। पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर हरभजन सिंह ने टूर्नामेंट में अब तक भारतीय अभियान की समीक्षा की और ऋषभ पंत के सुपर आठ में नंबर तीन पर बल्लेबाजी जारी रखने का समर्थन किया।
पूर्व भारतीय स्पिनर ने पंत के तीसरे नंबर पर आने की व्याख्या करते हुए कहा कि इससे लेफ्ट-राइट संतुलन बना रहता है जो किसी भी गेंदबाजी इकाई के लिए कड़ी चुनौती पेश करता है।
टूर्नामेंट में अब तक पंत भारतीय टीम की तरफ से शीर्ष स्कोरर रहे हैं। उन्होंने न्यूयॉर्क की मुश्किल पिच पर तीन पारियों में 96 रन बनाये हैं जबकि आलराउंडर हार्दिक पांड्या बाएं हाथ के तेज गेंदबाज अर्शदीप सिंह के साथ सर्वाधिक विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाज हैं। दोनों ने सात-सात विकेट लिए हैं।
