नई दिल्ली, 11 मार्च | भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम की सलामी बल्लेबाज स्मृति मंधाना ने टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप फाइनल में आस्ट्रेलिया से मिली हार के बाद क्रिकेट फैन्स से माफी मांगी है। मंधाना ने अपने इंस्टाग्राम पर लिखा, "मैं उन सभी को धन्यवाद देना चाहती हूं, जिन्होंने आठ मार्च को एमसीजी मैदान को भर दिया और पूरे टूर्नामेंट के दौरान हमारा समर्थन किया। परिणाम हमारे पक्ष में नहीं रहा है और इसके लिए मैं वास्तव में आप सब से माफी मांगती हूं। लेकिन जिस तरह से आप सब का समर्थन मिला, उससे मैं बहुत खुश हूं और इस तरह का समर्थन हमें और ऊपर ले जाएगा।"
मंधाना का खुद का फॉर्म भी पूरे टूर्नामेंट में सही नहीं था और उन्होंने चार पारियों में केवल 49 रन ही बनाए थे।
