पाकिस्तान नहीं इस देश में होगा एशिया कप 2020, क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने खुद दी जानकारी
नई दिल्ली, 10 जून | एशिया क्रिकेट परिसंघ (एसीसी) के कार्यकारी बोर्ड ने सोमवार को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के जरिए बैठक की। मुद्दा एशिया कप 2020 रहा जिसकी मेजबानी पाकिस्तान को करनी है। बैठक में बीसीसीआई ने साफ कर दिया कि पाकिस्तान में खेलना संभव नहीं है और श्रीलंका क्रिकेट (एसएलसी) के प्रमुख शम्मी सिल्वा ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड इस बात पर सहमत है कि श्रीलंका इस साल होने वाले इस टूर्नामेंट की मेजबानी करे।
सिलोन टुडे ने सिल्वा के हवाले से कहा, " हमने पीसीबी से इस मामले पर बातचीत की और वो इस बात से सहमत हो गए कि मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए हम इसकी मेजबानी करें। एसीसी की ऑन लाइन मीटिंग हुई और उन्होंने हमें टूर्नामेंट की मेजबानी के लिए हरी झंडी दे दी।"
