Captains Express Confidence Ahead Of Women’s World Cup 2025
Cricket World Cup: All team skippers at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 shared their excitement and confidence during a special captains’ day event held simultaneously in Bengaluru and Colombo, just four days before the tournament begins.
A unique setup brought all of them together on a single forum despite being in different countries. Alyssa Healy (Australia), Nat Sciver-Brunt (England), Sophie Devine (New Zealand), and Harmanpreet Kaur (India) participated in Bengaluru. At the same time, Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh), Fatima Sana (Pakistan), Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa), and Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka) participated in the event in Colombo.
