नई गेंद के बाद थोड़ा कम हो जाता है सिराज का प्रभाव, रोहित ने बताया पेसर को नहीं लेने का कारण
Third ODI: भारत की वनडे और चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी टीम की घोषणा के दौरान सबसे बड़ा मुद्दा तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद सिराज का टीम से बाहर होना रहा। कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने कहा कि सिराज नई गेंद के बिना थोड़े कम प्रभावी हो जाते हैं।
सिराज ने अब तक 44 मैचों में 71 विकेट लिए हैं और 2023 एशिया कप फाइनल में 6 विकेट लेकर शानदार प्रदर्शन किया था। खासतौर पर जसप्रीत बुमराह की उपलब्धता को लेकर अनिश्चितता के बावजूद यह निर्णय लिया गया। टीम में मोहम्मद शमी भी लंबी रिकवरी के बाद वापस लौट रहे हैं।
सिराज की जगह अर्शदीप सिंह को टीम में शामिल किया गया है। अर्शदीप ने विजय हजारे ट्रॉफी में सबसे ज्यादा विकेट लेकर चयनकर्ताओं को प्रभावित किया। अब वह बुमराह, मोहम्मद शमी और हार्दिक पांड्या के साथ तेज गेंदबाजी विभाग में शामिल होंगे।
