गुरुवार को ईडन गार्डन्स में खेले गए मुकाबले में वेस्टइंडीज के तेज गेंदबाज शमार जोसेफ ने 4 ओवरों में 30 रन देकर 4 विकेट हासिल किए। इस दौरान उन्होंने इटली के कप्तान हैरी मैनेंटी, ग्रांट स्टीवर्ट, थॉमस ड्रेका और अली हसन को कैच आउट कराया।
इसके अलावा, खुद जोसेफ ने एंथनी मोस्का, सैयद नकवी, जेजे स्मट्स और जियान मीडे को कैच आउट किया। उनके इस शानदार प्रदर्शन की बदौलत वेस्टइंडीज ने टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 के 37वें मुकाबले को 42 रन से अपने नाम किया।
