T20 World Cup: भारत ने बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ विमेंस टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 के 23वें मुकाबले में 5 विकेट से जीत हासिल की। इसी के साथ 'विमेन इन ब्लू' ने सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचने की उम्मीदों को कायम रखा है। 34 गेंदों में 53 रन की पारी खेलने वालीं शेफाली वर्मा को 'प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच' चुना गया।
भारतीय टीम 4 में से 3 मैच जीतकर ग्रुप-ए की प्वाइंट्स टेबल में दूसरे पायदान पर है। 'विमेन इन ब्लू' 28 जून को अपने अंतिम लीग मुकाबले में ऑस्ट्रेलिया का सामना करेगी। ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम सभी चार मैच जीतकर शीर्ष पर है, जबकि साउथ अफ्रीका 3 में से 2 मैच जीतकर तीसरे पायदान पर है। बांग्लादेश 4 में से 2 मैच गंवाकर चौथे स्थान पर है। पाकिस्तान और नीदरलैंड खिताबी रेस से बाहर है।
गुरुवार को एमिरेट्स ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड में टॉस गंवाकर बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी बांग्लादेशी टीम ने 8 विकेट खोकर 136 रन बनाए। बांग्लादेश ने महज 8 रन पर दिलारा अख्तर (4) का विकेट गंवा दिया था। इसके बाद शोभना मोस्तरी ने जुएरिया फिरदौस के साथ दूसरे विकेट के लिए 41 गेंदों में 51 रन की साझेदारी की।
