WPL 2023: Gujarat Giants Appoint Beth Mooney As Captain, Sneh Rana Named Vice-captain
The Adani Group owned Gujarat Giants on Monday appointed Australia's Beth Mooney as the captain and Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana as the vice-captain of the team ahead of the inaugural edition of the Womens Premier League (WPL), beginning on March 4.
Touted to be one of the most dominating wicket-keeper-batters in the game, Mooney and her team Australia successfully brought home the Women's T20 World Cup in 2018, 2020 and 2023 along with the Women's ODI World Cup in 2022 and the Gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
