Big Blow For South Africa As Skipper Dane Van Niekerk Ruled Out Of 2022 Womens' World Cup

Skipper Dane van Niekerk has been ruled out of action for at least three months, including the upcoming West Indies ODIs at home and the 2022 Women's World Cup in New Zealand in March-April, following an ankle injury, Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed on Thursday.

The 28-year old Niekerk sustained a fracture on her left ankle after accidentally slipping on a wet surface at home last week.
