वर्ल्ड कप 2019: न्यूजीलैंड को हराकर इंग्लैंड ने 27 साल बाद रखा सेमीफाइनल में कदम,बेयरस्टो बने जीत के हीरो

चेस्टर ली स्ट्रीट, 3 जुलाई (CRICKETNMORE)| लगातार दो मैचों में हार के बाद सेमीफाइनल में जाने के लिए संघर्ष करने वाली मेजबान इंग्लैंड ने मंगलवार को न्यूजीलैंड को 119 रनों से हरा आईसीसी वर्ल्ड कप-2019 के सेमीफाइनल में जगह पक्की कर ली है। इंग्लैंड ने 1992 के बाद से पहली बार वर्ल्ड कप के सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाई है। न्यूजीलैंड के ऊपर इस जीत ने इंग्लैंड के 27 साल के वर्ल्ड कप इतिहास को बदला है। वह इस टूर्नामेंट के सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचने वाली तीसरी टीम बन गई है। मौजूदा विजेता आस्ट्रेलिया और भारत पहले ही सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच चुकी हैं।

न्यूजीलैंड के पास अभी भी सेमीफाइनल में जाने का मौका है लेकिन इसके लिए उसे पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश के बीच होने वाले मैच में पाकिस्तान की हार की दुआ करनी होगी और अगर पाकिस्तान को सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचना भी है तो उसे बांग्लादेश को विशाल अंतर से हराना होगा तभी वह कीवी टीम को पीछे छोड़ अंतिम-4 में पहुंचेगी।
