नई दिल्ली, 20 जनवरी (आईएएनएस) भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच 25 जनवरी से हैदराबाद में शुरू होने वाली पांच टेस्ट मैचों की सीरीज के साथ, भारत के पूर्व बाएं हाथ के तेज गेंदबाज जहीर खान ने कहा कि वह यह देखने के लिए उत्सुक हैं कि मेहमान टीम अपने आक्रामक दृष्टिकोण पर कायम रहती है या नहीं। उपमहाद्वीपीय परिस्थितियों में इसे 'बैज़बॉल' के नाम से जाना जाता है।
2012 में इंग्लैंड से 2-1 से हारने के बाद से भारत घरेलू मैदान पर लगातार 16 टेस्ट सीरीज में विजयी हुआ है। ज़हीर ने जियोसिनेमा से कहा, “इन दिनों आप अक्सर पांच टेस्ट मैचों की सीरीज होते नहीं देखते हैं। 'बैज़बॉल' फोकस में रहेगा और हम देखेंगे कि क्या इंग्लैंड का दृष्टिकोण वैसा ही रहेगा। हम जिस तरह की पिचों पर खेलेंगे वह भी निश्चित रूप से चर्चा का एक अन्य मुद्दा होगी। लेकिन दोनों टीमें अपनी श्रेष्ठता साबित करने के लिए उत्सुक होंगी।”
