वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट टीम ने मंगलवार, 26 नवंबर को दो टेस्ट मैचों की सीरीज के पहले मैच में बांग्लादेश को 201 रनों से हराकर सीरीज में 1-0 की बढ़त बना ली। इस हार के बाद बांग्लादेशी टीम वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप की अंक तालिका में सबसे नीचे खिसक गई है। एंटीगुआ के सर विवियन रिचर्ड्स स्टेडियम में पहले टेस्ट के पांचवें दिन बांग्लादेशी टीम को 201 रनों से करारी हार का सामना करना पड़ा।
बांग्लादेशी टीम ने इस वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप चक्र में अब तक 11 मैच खेले हैं जिसमें उन्हें सिर्फ तीन में जीत मिली है जबकि 8 मैचों में हार मिली है और 25 के जीत अंक प्रतिशत के साथ वो अंक तालिका में सबसे नीचे यानि 9वें स्थान पर लुढ़क गए हैं। जबकि वेस्टइंडीज इस जीत के साथ 8वें स्थान पर पहुंच गया है। उनका जीत अंक प्रतिशत 26.67 हो गया है लेकिन सच ये है कि ये दोनों ही टीमें इस वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप चक्र के फाइनल की रेस से पहले ही बाहर हो चुकी हैं।
