There Is No Doubt That Kane Williamson Has Always Been Solid At Number Three: Danny Morrison
Former New Zealand cricketer-turned-commentator Danny Morrison has praised captain Kane Williamson's calmness and consistency, saying there is no doubt that the right-handed batter has always been a solid figure in the side at number three.
Williamson came into Friday's Group 1 Super 12 match in Men's T20 World Cup against Ireland at Adelaide Oval with questions over his form and inability to accelerate in the showpiece event. But, to the delight of New Zealand, he found his rhythm at the right time after a slowish start with a solid 61 off just 35 deliveries.
