India vs Sri Lnaka

Team India are hosting neighbours Sri Lanka, kicking off their home season. The tour comprises of 3-match T20I series, followed by 3-match ODI series. Sri Lanka last toured India in February-March 2023, for a 3-match T20I series followed by a 2-match Test series. India clean swept the tour, winning all 5 matches against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka have never managed to win a series against India in India.

The tour will begin with the 1st T20I in Mumbai on January 3rd, followed by the 2nd and 3rd T20I in Pune and Rajkot respectively. The two teams have played 26 T20Is against each other where India have won as many as 17 wins while Sri Lanka have registered 8 wins.

Out of these, 14 T20Is have been played in India and the home team has stayed ahead with 11 wins while Sri Lanka have managed to win just 2 T20Is.
