உடல்நலக்குறைவு காரணமாக இங்கிலாந்து முன்னாள் வீரர் கிரஹாம் தோர்ப் காலமானார்!
இங்கிலாந்து அணியின் முன்னாள் இடதுகை பேட்டர் கிரஹாம் தோர்ப். அவர் இங்கிலாந்து அணிக்காக கடந்த 1993ஆம் ஆண்டு அறிமுமான இவர் 100 டெஸ்ட் போட்டிகளில் விளையாடி 16 சதம், 39 அரைசதங்களுடன் 6744 ரன்களையும், ஒருநாள் கிரிக்கெட்டில் 82 போட்டிகளில் விளையாடி 21 அரைசதங்களுடன் 2380 ரன்களையும் சேர்த்துள்ளார். அதன்பின் இவர் கடந்த 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட்டில் இருந்து ஓய்வை அறிவித்தார்.
தனது ஓய்வு பிறகு இங்கிலாந்து அணியின் பயிற்சியாளராகவும் செயல்பட்டுள்ளார். அதன்படி 2013ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் அவர் இங்கிலாந்து அணியின் பேட்டிங் பயிற்சியாளர் பதவியில் இருந்துவந்தார். அவரது பயிற்சியின் கீழ் இங்கிலாந்து அணி கடந்த 2019ஆம் ஆண்டு இங்கிலாந்தில் நடைபெற்ற ஐசிசி ஒருநாள் உலகக்கோப்பை கிரிக்கெட் தொடரில் சாம்பியன் பட்டத்தை வென்று சாதனை படைத்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
