टी20 ब्लास्ट: यॉर्कशायर से जुड़े पाकिस्तानी ऑलराउंडर फहीम अशरफ
Asia Cup: आगामी 'टी20 ब्लास्ट' के लिए यॉर्कशायर ने पाकिस्तान के 32 वर्षीय बॉलिंग ऑलराउंडर फहीम अशरफ को साइन किया है। फहीम अनकैप्ड ऑस्ट्रेलियाई ऑलराउंडर विल सदरलैंड के स्थान पर टीम में आए हैं, जो कंधे की चोट के चलते सीजन से बाहर हो गए हैं। अशरफ जून में काउंटी चैंपियनशिप के दो राउंड में भी खेलते नजर आएंगे।
पाकिस्तान की ओर से 85 टी20 मुकाबलों में 61 विकेट हासिल कर चुके फहीम काउंटी क्रिकेट में नॉर्थम्पटनशायर और ससेक्स का प्रतिनिधित्व कर चुके हैं। यॉर्कशायर की टीम 22 मई को ट्रेंट ब्रिज में नॉटिंघमशायर के खिलाफ मुकाबले के साथ अपने अभियान की शुरुआत करेगी, जिससे पहले फहीम टीम से जुड़ जाएंगे।
क्लब की तरफ से जारी बयान में अशरफ ने कहा, "मैं यॉर्कशायर में शामिल होकर बहुत खुश हूं। मेरे कई साथी पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ियों ने इस क्लब का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है, उन्होंने यहां के माहौल और टीम में मौजूद खिलाड़ियों की गुणवत्ता दोनों की बहुत तारीफ की है। मैं हेडिंग्ले पहुंचने का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहा हूं।"
