भारत और साउथ अफ्रीका के बीच खेले जा रहे टेस्ट में पहले दिन ऋषभ पंत ने साउथ अफ्रीका के बल्लेबाज़ों को लेकर अपनी मज़ेदार कमेंट्री से सबका ध्यान खींचा। अक्षर पटेल और कुलदीप यादव की गेंदबाज़ी के दौरान पंत बार-बार फील्ड में बदलाव के लिए बेबाक सुझाव देते दिखे। पंत के तंज इतने ऑन-पॉइंट थे कि साथी खिलाड़ी भी हंस पड़े। उनके एक कमेंट, “पूरी टीम ऐसे ही खेलती है” ने सोशल मीडिया पर भी खूब सुर्खियां बटोरीं।
भारत और साउथ अफ्रीका के बीच जारी टेस्ट सीरीज के पहले टेस्ट में शुक्रवार(14 नवंबर) को पहले दिन टीम इंडिया के स्टार विकेटकीपर बल्लेबाज़ ऋषभ पंत एक बार फिर अपने बेबाक और चुलबुले अंदाज़ से मैदान में माहौल हल्का करते दिखे। इंग्लैंड दौरे में पैर में लगी चोट से उबरकर वापसी करने के बाद पंत न सिर्फ विकेट के पीछे शानदार ग्लववर्क दिखा रहे हैं, बल्कि उनकी ऑन-फील्ड कमेंट्री भी फैन्स को काफी पसंद आ रही है।
