सेमीफाइनल से पहले गेंदबाजों को फ्रेश रखना जरूरी : रयान टेन डेशकाटे
ICC Champions Trophy: चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में भारत के अंतिम लीग चरण मैच और सेमीफाइनल के बीच केवल एक दिन का अंतर है। ऐसे में टीम के सहायक कोच रयान टेन डेशकाटे का मानना है कि गेंदबाजों को ताजा बनाए रखना काफी अहम होगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि अपने ग्रुप में शीर्ष पर रहने के लिए वे संयोजन में अधिक छेड़छाड़ नहीं करने वाले हैं। न्यूजीलैंड ने भी सेमीफाइनल में जगह पक्की कर ली है, लेकिन रविवार को होने वाला मैच तय करेगा कि कौन ग्रुप ए में शीर्ष पर रहेगा।
टेन डेशकाटे ने शनिवार को प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा, "हमने दो कड़े ट्रेनिंग सेशन किए हैं, यही हमारी तैयारी रही है। जहां तक बेंच स्ट्रेंथ का सवाल है, तो हमारी प्राथमिकता यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि हमारे सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी दूसरे मैच (4 मार्च को होने वाले सेमीफाइनल) के लिए उपलब्ध और पूरी तरह फिट हों।"
उन्होंने कहा, "लेकिन हम नहीं चाहते कि वे दो और दिनों के लिए आराम करें (भारत को एक हफ्ते का ब्रेक मिला है)। इसलिए सही संतुलन बनाए रखने के लिए हम गेंदबाजी को थोड़ा बांटने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं। लेकिन जाहिर है कि हम न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ भी जीतना चाहते हैं। हमारे लिए लय बनाए रखना और ग्रुप में शीर्ष पर रहना भी अहम है। इन दोनों बातों के बीच संतुलन बनाना जरूरी है, जिसे हमें ध्यान में रखना होगा।"
