T20 World Cup: भारत ने रविवार को वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 के सुपर-8 मुकाबले में टॉस जीतकर गेंदबाजी का फैसला लिया है। इस मुकाबले को जीतने वाली टीम सेमीफाइनल का अंतिम टिकट हासिल करेगी। भारतीय टीम ने इस मैच में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है, जबकि वेस्टइंडीज ने ब्रैंडन किंग की जगह अकील हुसैन को मौका दिया है।
ईडन गार्डन्स स्टेडियम में टॉस जीतने के बाद भारतीय कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव ने कहा, "हम पहले गेंदबाजी करेंगे। यह चेजिंग ग्राउंड रहा है। विकेट और भी बेहतर हो जाएगा, इसलिए चेजिंग एक अच्छा विकल्प है। हमारी टीम में कोई बदलाव नहीं है।"
वहीं, वेस्टइंडीज के कप्तान शाई होप ने कहा, "हम भी पहले गेंदबाजी ही चुनते। लगातार क्रिकेट खेलना हमारे लिए जरूरी है। ज्यादातर खिलाड़ी आईपीएल का हिस्सा रहे हैं और उम्मीद है कि इस मैच में हम सर्वश्रेष्ठ खेल दिखाएंगे। आज करो या मरो का मैच है। हमारी प्लेइंग इलेवन में एक बदलाव है। ब्रैंडन किंग की जगह अकील हुसैन आए हैं।"
