बांग्लादेश के 25 साल के युवा बल्लेबाज तौहीद हृदोय (Towhid Hridoy) ने बुधवार (2 सितंबर) को फर्स्ट क्लास क्रिकेट में इतिहास रच दिया। साउथ अफ्रीका ए के खिलाफ खेले गए दूसरे अनऑफिशियल टेस्ट में बांग्लादेश ए की ओर से खेलते हुए हृदोय ने ऐसी पारी खेली, जिसने उन्हें देश के फर्स्ट क्लास क्रिकेट के रिकॉर्ड बुक में सबसे ऊपर पहुंचा दिया।
पॉचेफस्ट्रूम के सेनवेस पार्क में खेले गए इस मुकाबले में हृदोय ने चौथे नंबर पर बल्लेबाजी करते हुए बांग्लादेश की पहली पारी में 481 गेंदों पर नाबाद 350 रन बनाए। इस दौरान उनके बल्ले से 27 चौके और 10 छक्के निकले। उनकी इस शानदार पारी की बदौलत बांग्लादेश ए ने पहली पारी में साउथ अफ्रीका ए पर 164 रन की बढ़त हासिल की।
