ICC T20 World Cup: टी20 विश्व कप 2026 में अफगानिस्तान ने न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ अपने पहले ग्रुप मैच में पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए ऑलराउंडर गुलाबदीन नायब के अर्धशतक के दम पर 182 रन बनाए हैं।
एम ए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में खेले जा रहे मुकाबले में टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी अफगानिस्तान को धीमी शुरुआत मिली थी। पहले विकेट के लिए रहमानु्ल्लाह गुरबाज और इब्राहिम जादरान ने 5.1 ओवर में 35 रन जोड़े। जादरान 12 गेंद पर 10 रन बनाकर आउट हुए। गुरबाज दूसरे विकेट के रूप में 44 के स्कोर पर आउट हुए। गुरबाज ने 22 गेंद पर 27 रन बनाए।
तीसरे नंबर पर बल्लेबाजी करने आए गुलबदीन नायब और चौथे नंबर पर बल्लेबाजी करने उतरे सेदिकुल्लाह अटल ने तीसरे विकेट के लिए 79 रन की साझेदारी कर टीम के बड़े स्कोर की नींव रखी। 14.3 ओवर में अफगानिस्तान का स्कोर जब 123 रन था, उस समय अटल 24 गेंद पर 29 रन बनाकर आउट हुए।
