इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ ओल्ड ट्रैफर्ड में चल रहे 'एंडरसन-तेंदुलकर ट्रॉफी' के चौथे टेस्ट मैच में भारतीय टीम को एक बड़ा झटका लगा है। उपकप्तान ऋषभ पंत को दाहिने पैर में गंभीर चोट लगी है और इस वजह से उन्हें मैदान से बाहर जाना पड़ा।

भारतीय पारी के 68वें ओवर की चौथी गेंद पर, पंत ने क्रिस वोक्स की गेंद पर रिवर्स स्वीप करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन गेंद सीधे उनके दाहिने पैर पर जा लगी। गेंद लगते ही पंत दर्द से कराह उठे। फिजियो कमलेश जैन से उपचार लेते समय पंत अधिक दर्द में दिखे। वहीं, इस दौरान इंग्लैंड ने एलबीडब्ल्यू के प्रयास में अपना एक रिव्यू गंवा दिया।
