सफ़ेद बॉल क्रिकेट में स्टॉप क्लॉक नियम लागू (लीड)
International Cricket Council: अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद (आईसीसी) ने सीमित ओवरों के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मैचों में ओवरों के बीच स्टॉप-क्लॉक का उपयोग अनिवार्य कर दिया है। यह नियम 1 जून 2024 से लागू होगा और इस साल के अंत में वेस्टइंडीज और यूएसए में होने वाले आगामी आईसीसी टी20 विश्व कप में इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा।
आईसीसी ने बोर्ड बैठक के बाद एक विज्ञप्ति में बताया कि स्टॉप-क्लॉक जून 2024 से सभी वनडे और टी20 में स्थायी हो जाएगी, जिसकी शुरुआत वेस्टइंडीज और यूएसए में आईसीसी पुरुष टी20 विश्व कप 2024 से होगी।
दिसंबर 2023 में, आईसीसी ने पुरुषों के सीमित ओवरों के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मैचों में परीक्षण के आधार पर स्टॉप क्लॉक की शुरुआत की थी। परीक्षण अप्रैल 2024 तक चलना था, लेकिन मैचों के समय पर पूरा होने के संदर्भ में प्रयोग के परिणाम पहले ही मिल चुके हैं।
