भारतीय बल्लेबाज केएल राहुल (KL Rahul) पिछले कुछ समय से अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने में नाकाम रहे है। ऐसे में क्या वो आगामी बॉर्डर गावस्कर ट्रॉफी में अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर पाएंगे इस पर सवाल उठ रहे है। हालांकि पूर्व क्रिकेटर सुनील गावस्कर (Sunil Gavaskar) को लगता है कि राहुल को ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ सीरीज के दौरान रन बनाने में कोई दिक्कत नहीं होगी।
गावस्कर ने कहा कि, "केएल राहुल ने बेहतरीन शतकों में से एक बनाया, जिसे मैंने पिछले साल साउथ अफ्रीका में पहली बार बल्लेबाजी करते हुए देखा था, इसलिए यहां फिर से ऐसा करना उनके लिए कोई मुद्दा नहीं होगा। सभी बल्लेबाजों की तरह उसे भी शुरुआत में कुछ किस्मत की जरूरत होगी और अगर वह ऐसा कर पाता है तो वह टीम को मजबूत शुरुआत दिला सकता है।"
