रचिन रवींद्र वनडे विश्व कप 2023 और अब भारत के खिलाफ टेस्ट मैच में अपनी बल्लेबाजी से एक युवा स्टार के रूप में उभरे हैं। बेंगलुरु में उनका यह शानदार प्रदर्शन उनके लिए बेहद खास है, क्योंकि इस शहर से उनका परिवार भी जुड़ा हुआ है।

एक बार फिर क्रिकेट जगत में चर्चा में आए रचिन ने बेंगलुरु में भारत के खिलाफ पहली पारी में 134 रन बनाए और दूसरी पारी में नाबाद 39 रन बनाकर टीम की जीत में अहम योगदान दिया। एम. चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम में 8 विकेट से न्यूजीलैंड की जीत के बाद इस खिलाड़ी को प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच का पुरस्कार भी दिया गया। यह 1988 के बाद से भारत में न्यूजीलैंड की पहली टेस्ट जीत थी।
