विंडीज टी20 के लिए क्वेना मफाका को दक्षिण अफ्रीका की टीम में पहली बार शामिल किया गया

जोहानसबर्ग, 14 अगस्त (आईएएनएस) तेज गेंदबाज क्वेना मफाका को इस महीने के अंत में वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ तीन टी20 मैच खेलने के लिए दक्षिण अफ्रीका की टीम में पहली बार शामिल किया गया है। मफाका ने इस साल के अंडर19 विश्व कप में 9.71 की औसत से 21 विकेट लेकर प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट का पुरस्कार जीता था।
उन्होंने लायंस के लिए अपना घरेलू टी20 डेब्यू भी किया और इस साल के इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) के लिए मुंबई इंडियंस (एमआई) ने उन्हें अपने साथ जोड़ लिया। मध्यम गति के गेंदबाजी ऑलराउंडर जेसन स्मिथ को भी दक्षिण अफ्रीका ने पहली बार टीम में शामिल किया है, जिन्होंने 2023/24 सीएसए टी20 चैलेंज में 41.57 के औसत और 134.10 के स्ट्राइक रेट से 291 रन बनाए थे, जिसमें फ़ाइनल में 51 रन भी शामिल थे।
