गिल साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ दूसरे टेस्ट मैच से बाहर, पंत संभालेंगे टीम इंडिया की कमान
First Test Match Between India: भारतीय कप्तान शुभमन गिल साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ टेस्ट सीरीज से बाहर हो गए हैं। गिल दूसरे टेस्ट में नहीं खेलेंगे। उनके स्थान पर ऋषभ पंत शनिवार से शुरू होने जा रहे दूसरे टेस्ट में टीम की कमान संभालेंगे।
शुभमन गिल कोलकाता के ईडन गार्डन्स में खेले गए पहले टेस्ट मैच की पहली पारी में बल्लेबाजी के दौरान चोटिल हुए थे। अपनी पारी की तीसरी गेंद पर चौका लगाने के बाद गिल को गर्दन में परेशानी महसूस हुई, जिसके बाद वह रिटायर्ड हर्ट होकर पवेलियन वापस लौटे। इसके बाद गिल दोबारा बल्लेबाजी के लिए नहीं आ सके।
भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) ने शुक्रवार को सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म 'एक्स' पर गिल के दूसरे टेस्ट से बाहर होने की जानकारी देते हुए लिखा, "टीम इंडिया के कप्तान शुभमन गिल, जिन्हें साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ पहले टेस्ट के दौरान गर्दन में चोट लगी थी, गुवाहाटी में होने वाले दूसरे टेस्ट से बाहर हो गए हैं। उनकी गैरमौजूदगी में ऋषभ पंत दूसरे टेस्ट में टीम की कप्तानी करेंगे।"
