'फ्री-हिट से टेस्ट में नो-बॉल कम हो सकती है,' साईराज बहुतुले का 'अनोखा सुझाव'
Sri Lanka: भारत के स्पिन-बॉलिंग कोच साईराज बहुतुले ने बताया है कि गेंदबाजों के बॉलिंग एक्शन में आ रही 'ओवरस्टेपिंग' की कमी को ठीक करने के लिए तकनीकी स्तर पर काम चल रहा है। कोच ने सुझाव दिया है कि टेस्ट क्रिकेट में 'फ्री-हिट' का नियम लागू करने से इस आदत को पूरी तरह खत्म किया जा सकता है।
श्रीलंका के खिलाफ सिंहलीज स्पोर्ट्स क्लब ग्राउंड पर जारी दूसरे टेस्ट मैच में 'नो-बॉल' का मुद्दा फिर से सामने आया। इस मैच में भारतीय स्पिनर्स ने 10 बार 'ओवरस्टेप' किया, जो साल 2021 के बाद से किसी भी स्पिन यूनिट की ओर से एक मैच में की गई सबसे ज्यादा 'नो-बॉल' हैं।
डेब्यू करने वाले ऑफ-स्पिनर सारांश जैन और सीनियर लेफ्ट-आर्म स्पिन-बॉलिंग ऑलराउंडर रवींद्र जडेजा पर बहुत ज्यादा 'नो-बॉल' फेंकने के कारण सवाल उठे हैं। इससे यह सवाल भी खड़ा हो गया है कि क्या नेट सेशन के दौरान अनुशासन की कमी आ रही है।
