वनडे सीरीज के पहले मैच में श्रीलंका ने पार की भारत के खिलाफ पावरप्ले की 'बाधा'
First ODI Cricket Match Between: भारत और श्रीलंका के बीच तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरीज का पहले मैच कोलंबो के आर प्रेमदासा स्टेडियम में हो रहा है। इस मुकाबले में श्रीलंका ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया और भारत के खिलाफ वनडे मैचों में चले आ रही पहले पावरप्ले की बाधा को भी दूर किया।
श्रीलंका की टीम इस मैच में भारत के खिलाफ पहले पावरप्ले यानी शुरुआती 10 ओवर में, 1 विकेट के नुकसान पर 37 रन बना पाई। वनडे क्रिकेट में यह बहुत अच्छा आंकड़ा नहीं है, लेकिन भारत के खिलाफ पिछले चार वनडे मुकाबलों में शुरुआती 10 ओवर में श्रीलंका के स्कोर इतने खराब रहे हैं, कि शुक्रवार का स्कोर काफी बेहतर नजर आ रहा है।
श्रीलंका की टीम पिछले पांच एकदिवसीय मैचों में भारत के खिलाफ पहले पावरप्ले में बेहद खराब प्रदर्शन कर रही है आज के मैच में श्रीलंका ने पावरप्ले में 1 विकेट खोकर 37 रन बनाकर भारत के खिलाफ पिछले पांच वनडे मैचों में बेस्ट पावरप्ले प्रदर्शन किया है। इससे पहले, भारत के खिलाफ पिछले वनडे मैच में श्रीलंका की टीम 6 विकेट खोकर 14 रन ही बना सकी थी। उससे पहले मैच में श्रीलंका महज 31 रन पर 6 विकेट गंवा चुकी थी।
