Prasidh Unwanted Record: टीम इंडिया के पेसर प्रसिद्ध कृष्णा को इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ टेस्ट सीरीज के पहले दो मैचों में मौका दिया गया, लेकिन उन्होंने अभी तक उम्मीद के मुताबिक प्रदर्शन नहीं किया है। बर्मिंघम टेस्ट में तो उन्होंने एक ऐसा रिकॉर्ड बना दिया, जिसे कोई गेंदबाज़ अपने नाम नहीं करना चाहेगा।
प्रसिद्ध कृष्णा को भारतीय टीम मैनेजमेंट और सेलेक्टर्स ने लंबे समय से समर्थन दिया है, खासकर उनकी तेज़ रफ्तार और "हिट-द-डेक" गेंदबाज़ी क्षमता के चलते। लेकिन 29 वर्षीय कर्नाटक के इस गेंदबाज़ ने अब तक टेस्ट में खुद को साबित नहीं किया है। दिसंबर 2023 में साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ डेब्यू करने के बाद से अब तक उनकी लाइन-लेंथ और इकॉनमी दोनों पर सवाल उठते रहे हैं।
