T20 World Cup: भारतीय कप्तान निकी प्रसाद ने कहा कि उनकी टीम का लक्ष्य 2025 अंडर-19 महिला टी-20 विश्व कप जीतना और 2023 में शेफाली वर्मा की कप्तानी में जीते गए खिताब का सफलतापूर्वक बचाव करना है।
भारत शनिवार को मलेशिया में शुरू हो रहे टूर्नामेंट में गत विजेता है, इससे पहले उसने 2023 में दक्षिण अफ्रीका में पहला संस्करण जीता था। वे पिछले महीने मलेशिया में पहला अंडर-19 महिला एशिया कप जीतने के बाद भी इस टूर्नामेंट में शामिल हैं।
निकी ने आईसीसी के एक बयान में कहा, "हमारा लक्ष्य बहुत स्पष्ट है। इस टूर्नामेंट को जीतना और पिछले संस्करण में भारत द्वारा जीते गए खिताब का सफलतापूर्वक बचाव करना। यह अंडर-19 महिला टी-20 विश्व कप का पहला संस्करण भी था। हम यहां एक ऐसा क्रिकेट खेलने आए हैं, जो हमें ट्रॉफी जीतने और अपने देश और समर्थकों को गौरवान्वित करने में मदद करेगा।''
