Karunaratne joins 3,000 run club in test cricket
Oct.7 (CRICKETNMORE) - Sri Lankan opener Dimuth Karunaratne on Saturday completed 3,000 Test runs during his marathon knock of 196 in the second and final Test against Pakistan in Dubai on Saturday. He becomes the 12th Sri Lankan to score 3,000 or more runs
The 29-year-old left-hander reached the milestone when on 141 he smashed a boundary off pacer Mohammad Amir during second day's play.
