टी20 वर्ल्ड कप: एडेन मार्करम ने तूफानी पारी खेलकर लगाई रिकॉर्ड्स की झड़ी, रोहित-डी कॉक को पछाड़ा
T20 World Cup: टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 में साउथ अफ्रीका ने गुरुवार को एकतरफा अंदाज में वेस्टइंडीज को 9 विकेट से हराया। नरेंद्र मोदी क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में साउथ अफ्रीका की इस जीत के नायक कप्तान एडेन मार्करम रहे। मार्करम ने सिर्फ 46 गेंदों का सामना करते हुए 82 रनों की नाबाद पारी खेली। उन्होंने अपनी इस तूफानी के साथ ही कई बड़े रिकॉर्ड्स भी अपने नाम कर लिए हैं।
मार्करम बतौर कप्तान टी20 विश्व कप के एक संस्करण में सर्वाधिक रन बनाने वाले दूसरे बल्लेबाज बन गए हैं। इस वर्ल्ड कप में प्रोटियाज टीम के कप्तान अब तक 264 रन बना चुके हैं। उन्होंने रोहित शर्मा को इस मामले में पीछे छोड़ा है। टी20 फॉर्मेट से संन्यास ले चुके रोहित ने भारतीय कप्तान के तौर पर टी20 विश्व कप में 257 रन बनाए।
एडेन मार्करम टी20 वर्ल्ड कप के एक संस्करण में साउथ अफ्रीका की तरफ से अब सर्वाधिक रन बनाने वाले बल्लेबाज बन गए हैं। उन्होंने क्विंटन डी कॉक का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ डाला है। डी कॉक ने टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2024 में बेहतरीन बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 243 रन बनाए थे। वहीं, मार्करम इस विश्व कप में 264 रन बना चुके हैं।
